Al'Taieu

And so it was that today, my static and I finally made it to Chapter 8 of the Chains of Promathia expansion.

This means that I have Sea access now!

We started out clearing the NMs in 7-4 and decided to do 7-5: The Warrior's Path as well.

Please note that the following are SPOILERS. If you do not want SPOILERS, stop reading here.

***SPOILERS START***
Now, I've been hearing so long that we have to fight Tenzen. I just couldn't figure out why. After all, he seems so above board and everything. For those who are in the know, I'm very storyline driven. I'm into these missions not for the gear but for the storyline. It's not just a means to the end for me. The means, IS the objective.

It was a pretty fun fight actually. Got to see a couple of really neat WS and a way out there SC! Cosmic Elucidation! Unfortunately I didn't see it too clearly. Anyways, we managed to beat Tenzen on our second try.

When we begin the fight, he says something curious :"I have long awaited this moment. The moment you were bathed in the glow..."














Me?

Turns out that it was a trial by Tenzen to prove something that he has been suspecting all along.


Is Tenzen saying that I am the Light of Hope? Weirdo...










After defeating Tenzen, next stop is the fifth mothercrystal! This is what we've been working towards and it's so exciting! However, strange revelations are ahead.....


























































Okies.... we got a simple solution! Restore the fifth mothercrystal's power and the arrival of the Keeper of the Apocalypse will be prevented! Yay!

So Selh'teus can fix this right?

Wait a minute.. what's this he's saying... :"I am a child of darkness".

Ok I think he is trying to say he can do anything. Uhm... so what's the solution?
















Phoenix said that I am the Vessel of Light and that this Vessel of Light is fated to be smashed before the fifth mother crystal?? Crikey! This is definitely hazardous to health! You should have seen the look of shock on my face.. which I didn't manage to capture!


Oh boy, do I have a choice here? A second opinion maybe? You know, I really like you guys. That counts for something? No?


Oh well, I guess I can at least feel I did something great.







Ahah! Prishe intervenes! Prishe believes that I will prevail against the Keeper of the Apocalypse! I guess this means I'm off the hook? Prishe asks Selh'teus to open the way to Al'Taieu. Selh'teus hesitates but Nag'molada decides to gate crash our little party.... urgh.

Nag'molada says that it is unfair for me to shoulder the sins of people, that the ancients were responsible for these events. He thus declares that he will shoulder part of the responsibility burden... *I'm impressed!* .. and the power that comes with it... *boo I should have guessed*

And there we are, finally in Al'Taieu! It really is Sea here, the creatures here are marine creatures. Dolphins will come and nuzzle you... sharks underwater aggro though.

So far I've managed to get the Map of Al'Taieu. This also means that I can join Limbus now. I shall give that a thought. We're also that much closer to completing CoP and hearing "Distant Worlds" in CoP. I have the song.. but I just want to hear it in the storyline! It'd be so cool.... At the same time it'd be so sad too. The end of volume in Vanadiel.....

Call me sentimental but that's what gets me going!
